Today UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon swore in Filippo Grandi as the new United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Karen Abu Zayd as Special Adviser on the Summit on Addressing Large Movements of Refugees and Migrants.
Karen served as UNRWA CG from 2005 to 2010, and Filippo from 2010 to 2014.
